No, Homeless Aid UK is not a registered charity. We are a 100% volunteer-run organisation established by a group of friends who wanted to make a difference in their communities.
This means:
- All donations go directly to helping those in need
- Complete transparency in how funds are used
- Grassroots approach to helping the homeless
We welcome volunteers! You can help by:
- Helping at our feeding locations
- Sorting donations at our storage facilities
- Joining our street outreach teams
- Assisting with administrative tasks
Fill out our volunteer form and we'll get in touch with opportunities in your area.
Nothing! Just turn up at any of our feeding locations during the scheduled times. Our service is:
- Completely free
- No questions asked
- No ID or documentation required
- Open to anyone who needs help
For food bank parcels, please call us first on 0800 124 4641 to arrange collection.
While we primarily focus on providing food and essential items, we can provide information and signposting to local housing services. Call our helpline and we'll do our best to connect you with appropriate housing support services in your area.
We accept:
- Money: Bank transfers, cash donations
- Food: Non-perishable items, tinned goods
- Clothing: Clean, wearable clothes for all seasons
- Toiletries: Soap, shampoo, toothbrushes, etc.
- Sleeping equipment: Sleeping bags, blankets
Please contact us before bringing large donations to ensure we can accommodate them.
